December 7th, 2002

Well its that time of the semester again- the time where you try to learn all the stuff you were suppose to learn in the last 4 months! You know what I'm talking about- FINALS! I know you love finals as much as I do. This year I have 3 on one day... I could try to have one of them moved but I figure I might as well just take all 3 the same day to get them out of the way. Good luck to everyone on finals. Remember to spend less time trying to calculate your grade before you take the final- and spend more time on actually studying.

Congrats to Rita on her new job! Also birthday wishes go out to Binh who turned the big 22 this week.... its over man- we're all old now.....

A week or so ago I went with Jag, Anthony and Wing to see Solaris. Solaris is that George Clooney movie that is about space and romance or whatever. This had to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my entire life... Wing and I tried to think of a movie that we've seen that was worse... but after thinking of Ninth Gate, Apt Pupil, and Serving Sara- we still thought Solaris was worse.... You might be wondering- what was bad about the movie? EVERYTHING- boring story- infact boring everything. Its one of those movies that tries so hard to be thought-provoking and profound- and some people might say I didn't like it because I didn't get it or something... well guess what- I got it- it was stupid- I came- I saw- I cried... I'll never get those 98 minutes back. I swear, this movie was 98 minutes long but it felt like 6 hours. Why didn't I walk out of the theater? Well after half the theater left- I felt compelled to stay- I'm a sucker for torture I guess! For the ladies out there- you get to see George Clooney's ass like 3 or 4 times... Wing was really excited about that....

Speaking of guestbook... damn Jag wrote a diss to me... in my guestbook! He even worked in that Wing was gay... although I don't understand how getting with J-Lo is gay... maybe Jag is confused... anyways I was gonna reply to it in my g-book but I figure instead of writing back there- I'd rather drop a reply to Jag in here..... Okay firstly- if you haven't read what Jag wrote- here it is, followed by my response that I didn't take much time to write- actually I limited my time to the amount of time Jag said it took him to write his.... enjoy and feel free to hit up the guestbook with comments and what not.

Wow, haven't updated in over a month- over the last few weeks I was meaning to update but everytime I'd start something always got in the way... school assignments, midterms, lazyness.... there was always something! I updated most of the sections this week- check it out! And for those of you that haven't caught on yet, on the main homepage of my site there are "hidden links" that you can access by clicking on my pictures.... For example you can access the "school files" area by clicking on the picture of me giving the middle finger- coincidence? I think not!

School's going pretty decent this semester- which is a relief since I took what is considered to be 2 of the hardest mechanical engineering classes together... Vibrations of Particles and Heat Transfer Theory. I nicknamed the professors of those 2 classes (Dr. Ku and Dr. Wu) the "Dynamic Duo". If they were a wrestling tag team they'd be "Killa Ku and Furious Wu".... I guess that would work as names for them if they were a Hip-Hop crew too.... Anyways taking these two classes together is considered suicide by some- but I think it wasn't that bad- I just found myself doing more homework then I have ever done in my life... my mom would come into my room and actually see me with a book open. I'm not out of the proverbial woods yet- but it looks like I'm gonna at least pass everything- keep your fingers crossed for me.

Over the last few weeks I made a few trips up to Toronto... once with Rich and Binh and my sister... and the second time with just Wing and my sister. My sister stayed with friends and the guys stayed over at Kev and Tom's place. It was cool to hang out with Kev, it was just like the old days back in high school. Sometimes I forget how crazy funny Kevin is... lol... seriously that guy is like crazier than me and Wing... One of the memorable moments was when Thomas ripped his jeans on barbed wire while trying to break back into his own apartment building after we didn't have the pass key to get through the front door when we went to mcdonalds to go eat breakfast at 6am (we didn't sleep yet)... that was some funny shit!

I bought a new computer when I went to TO! That old computer I was using just wasn't cutting it anymore- so I bought a 2 gigahertz intel machine from Pacific Mall... Wing and my bro got new pc's too... cool stuff- I can actually run any program I want on my computer now! In fact I can open all my programs at the same time and it barely slows down... fucking awesome! Wing was watching Ricki Lake last week (which made me think two things... why the hell was Wing watching Ricki Lake? and What the fuck- Ricki Lake still has a talk show??) Anyways- so the topic of the show was something to do with people that claimed they could freestyle... apparently there was a wheel spinning device and whatever topic you landed on you had to freestyle about. Wing said they were all pretty weak....laaaast weeeek! A few days later when we were on icq Wing gave me topics and told me to "keystyle" about them... half of it is crude and offensive about Wing... and then I dropped a semi-decent verse on the topic of "Diamonds"- remember it was all written in real time.. so like a minute or so between each message- read and enjoy!

So much school work to do, so little time, even less motivation.....

Updated the music sections... top ten lists and song of the week- check em...

Last week me and the Wayne State crew hit greektown just to grab some dinner... the highlights had to have been when Will lied to the waiter saying it was my birthday so that we could get some free dessert (which was a suprise to everyone at the table actually... I had no idea that the dude was singing happy birthday to me until he put dessert infront of me...)... damn you Will you crazy guy... and the other highlight was when Mike B. said to some out of town girl from Texas- "So where are YOU staying?" That has to be the quote of the week... its funny coz Mike was just asking because he was curious since she was a member of the Society of Women engineers... but she took it the wrong way.. totally... what was even funnier was when Rita turned around started laughing and said that was the worse pickup line she had ever heard. That was followed by that girl and her whole group of friends (about 8-10) crossing the street and walking quickly.... By the way if you ever get a chance to be a passenger in Will's Probe- thats some fun Fast and the Furious shit... red lights are just a suggestion to him or somethin'.... Props to Jag for gettin this dinner together... even if it was being planned since August!

Someone recently told me that I don't compliment people often.... all I have to say about that is that if you really think about it- people that compliment often are probably just lying to you... either than or I'm a bastard... both statements are open to debate!

Chrysler adverted a strike today... I guess this matters to me- but I really don't care- all it means is work on friday....

KB totally redesigned the Message Board - it looks pretty awesome... there's only 3 members right now aside from myself... KB, Angel and Vangirl... but some of you fuckers check it out and sign up for that shit- it only takes like 5 seconds.

That reminds me- for all of you that haven't hit up the g-book yet- you suck! (This comment was directed towards Helen).

Thanks to everyone who commented on the site and sent me birthday wishes last week! I really wanted to get back to everyone personally- but I was swamped with school crap... what else is new? Ah well, thanks again and I'll definitely e-mail/message you back....

Yet another week of school... so much shit due this week and next that I don't even want to think about it... so I won't!

Anyways my b-day was awesome this year- thanks to the guys at school (Jag, Anthony, Will, & Chris) for the Simpsons dvd.... It will definitely help me waste time I should be studying more efficiently! Thanks to Tri and Nia for the awesome shirt and tie- I'm gonna wear it to Winnie's wedding friday for sure. The homemade card that you guys made me was awesome! I really enjoyed it. Thanks to Binh for the Maple Leafs hat- cool stuffs- now I can wear it to school and get my ass beat by rabid Redwings fans (damn you Luca). Thanks to Wing, Rich, Wally, Salman, Sinath for taking me out for my b-day and to everyone else who I might have forgotten coz its 3am..... you guys rule.

I definitely can't forget thanking Hetu for the present via Fedex... that was pretty unexpected and very sweet of you : )

Looks like alot of people are hitting up the site since the update- good stuff. I'm suprised Rita didn't sign the guestbook since the update- I remember when she used to visit my webpage every 15 minutes hoping I would update it! No love for GC anymore girl?!

For those of you that haven't noticed, there are some hidden links on the main page of this site... well I guess they aren't really hidden anymore now that I have told you about them... but ya check em' out.

Well here it is.... finally an update! And not just a regular update- a new redesign and lots of new features.... reason why I didn't do it sooner is because I'm a lazy ass... uhh... wait.... I mean I was really busy studying.... thats right... studying.....

Tomorrow's my birthday... crazy shit, I'm gonna be 22- thats old! Well you know.. its not really that old- but its still getting there. Tomorrow I also have a Vibes quiz worth 5% of my final... fun stuff.

Wally started up ACCC (asian canadian cultural club), with the help of Tri and Salman. So far so good- the first meeting was pretty entertaining... especially Alan eating that timbit with all that indian food stuff on it....

Schools pretty hard this semester.... Heat Transfer and Vibrations... both are known to be killer classes... but the good news is that after this semester is done its pretty much smooth sailing.... the rest of the classes are mostly design classes and ME electives which aren't that bad....

I wanted to see that Tuxedo movie- but Anthony said it was crappy...

Winnie is getting married next Friday! I still can't believe she's getting married... I've never been to a wedding before where its one of my friends thats getting married (aside from cousins). Should be awesome.
