Carnivale (HBO)

This is an HBO original series that tells the epic tale of the battle between good and evil. There are 4 prophets with supernatural powers. The rub is that you aren’t quite sure who’s good or evil. Since only 8 episodes have aired, it’s hard to determine how good it is. But I can tell you from the episodes that have aired so far that it’s been excellent. The ensemble cast is awesome and the story is very intriguing. The story is very complex and multi-layered so its difficult to write about the story without giving anything away. I suggest that you check it out- preferably from the beginning so it actually makes sense.
